With a gift of trees you offset a loved ones' carbon footprint.

The Unicorn Charity uses the following equation: On average one tree=c400 kilos of carbon, assuming the tree, dependant on species, when fully grown yields c2 cubic meters of usable timber. You can offset your carbon footprint by buying a gift from the foundation so we can plant more trees on your behalf, or as a gift for someone you nominate.

These will be as a part of a mixed forest of native Irish trees that will be planted and managed by the Unicorn Ecological Foundation for the next 20 years.

 Give the gift of inspiration:  help build an Earthship-style Eco greenhouse, plant up a reedbed system for a bio-digester or create "Re-cycle Art."

 The gift of an Earthship style Eco greenhouse will demonstrate  building methods that re-use waste products and will incorporate solar showers, compost toilets, a passive heat sink and many other teaching displays.

Give a child the gift of learning how to care for their world:

The Unicorn Foundation’s environmental education policy is set up to teach children from schools and colleges at the centre, everything from setting up a wormery at home, planting trees to “re-cycle art” and simple solutions to minimize ecological impact. The children will be taught in a fun and informative way by our staff
